Members countries
MapAid was founded in 2003 at Stanford University in the USA, as a result of 23 students and faculty members, supporting a mapping fellowship project that was funded by the Reuters Foundation. Not all of these founder members were from the USA, members also came from the Caribbean, the UK, and Brazil.
Today we have members, friends and associates from:
