MAPGAP.ORG FOUND A SKILLED INDEPENDENT WIKIPEDIA AUTHOR & EDITOR: JACKIE HUTCHINGS

By 15 January 2014Ethiopia, UK, Unemployment

Over the past few weeks I have been aware that the MapGap programme, part of Global MapAid, has no page on Wikipedia.

It is not entirely ethical for a Global MapAid person to create a page for the organisation, however I believe it is ethical for us to suggest ideas that some other skilled author and editor can filter to assure suitable neutrality. This we did at wikipedia.org

We then put out a request on HootSuite to Twitter, Global MapAid on FaceBook, and LinkedIn and inside 2 hours Jackie Hutchings had nailed it. Fantastic display of action centred leadership.

Today is 15th January 2014 and wikipedia has told us the new page will be up by 7th February 2014.

Here is this mysterious lady, from a picture I found on the WWW. If anyone should meet her, please pass on our eternal thanks.
