Creating COVID-19 Maps

We’re providing maps to show where amazing people are doing great things to help the main heroes having to deal with the COVID-19 response. We’re also providing up-to-date maps of the number of cases and fatalities for the whole of the United Kingdom at a more granular level.

Past missions: Pakistan

In the wake of the earthquake in 2005, GMA volunteers travelled to Pakistan to make maps for PODA, an indigenous not-for-profit, to guide donors and other visitors to their projects including a refugee camp.

Past missions: Hurricane Katrina

When Hurricane Katrina devastated Greater New Orleans on 29 August 2005, Global MapAid initiated rapid deployment. Our mission was to collect data and produce maps showing  victims where they could find aid.
